Day 1
Arrival in Beijing

When arriving in Beijing, you will be greeted by our professional tour guide at the Beijing Capital Airport and then transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day will be free for your own leisure, and you can choose other scenic spots to visit at your own expenses.

Day 2
Beijing

After breakfast, visiting Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex in the world. Then tour Tiananmen Square. Stop by Tongrentang Chinese Medicine Institute, which designated to provide medicines for the royal pharmacy of the Qing Dynasty for 188 years.

Then, visit the Temple of Heaven. Afterwards, explore the hutong neighborhoods, nearby the Forbidden City, for insight into an historic area of Beijing that is fading fast. Over the years many of these age-old hutongs have been replaced by modern development, but much remains and a pedicab ride and walking tour will show you the most notable spots. You will explore the hutongs on foot and by pedicab with your guide.

Day 3
Beijing

Looking like a gigantic dragon across deserts, grasslands and mountains, the Great Wall of China is one of the ‘Eight Wonders of the World’. We tour the Juyongguan portion of the Great Wall in the morning and stop by a Jade Workshop where we will learn some information about the precious jade. Afterwards, drive by Olympic Village and have a photo stop at the Bird Nest &Water Cube.

Day 4
Beijing/Xian

This morning you will take high speed train to Xian, the ancient capital city for 11 dynasties in Chinese history. Upon arrival, proceed to Shaanxi History Museum, which has been regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures”. Then take outside view of the Ancient City Wall.

Day 5
Xian

Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors& Horses, which are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, and pay a visit to the Terra-cotta Figure Workshop en route. Then tour the Qinshihuang Mausoleum. Back to the town, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayan Pagoda) is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists.

Day 6
Xian/Shanghai (Flight)-Suzhou (Coach)

After breakfast, take flight Shanghai, China’s most popular metropolis that has attracted the visitors from all over the world. Transferred to Suzhou, often referred to as the “Venice of the East”. Upon arrival, visit the Suzhou’s Bird Nest, designed by Paul Andrew who also designed the Beijing’s Bird Nest. Later, take a boat ride on the Grand Canal to see the ancient homes and buildings along the water and then have the evening free at your leisure.

Day 7
Suzhou-Wuxi

After breakfast, visit Suzhou Lotus Garden, also named The Couple’s Garden. It is the world’s cultural heritage. It has survived to the present and is kept in a good state of preservation and its artistic perfection, the garden has had a good reputation, popularly known as “Oriental romantic”. And visit the silk embroidery factory for a demonstration on the silk-making process. Transfer to Wuxi after lunch, visit the Li Garden, Zisha Tea-Pot Center.The garden is surrounded with water on three sides, shows the interests of “the artificial hill the real water”.

Day 8
Wuxi-Hangzhou

After breakfast proceed to visit the Pearl Breeding Center before transfer to Hangzhou. Visit West Lake and enjoy the relaxing cruise there. West Lake is man-made and created after the Chinese love for garden-style parks for recreation. It is the symbol of Hangzhou, and is considered one of the most beautiful sights in China.

Day 9
Hangzhou-Shanghai

After breakfast, visit the Dragon Well Tea Plantation to have a taste of the famous green tea-Dragon Well. transfer to Shanghai, Visit the Bund, which is a famous waterfront & regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Then City God Temple Plaza & the Nanjing Road, which is No.1 commercial center in China.

Day 10
Shanghai

Have an early half-day city tour by visiting Jade Buddha Temple, stop by the Jewel Store, Xin Tian Di. Enjoy a Shanghai Dim sum lunch. In the afternoon, firstly we will experience the Maglev Train in Shanghai, whose highest speed could be up to 431Km/Hour. Afterwards, transfer to Pudong Developing Area and visit Jinmao Tower (inside visit to Observation Deck). Lastly, enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Huangpu River.

Day 11
Shanghai to Yichang Boarding (Flight)

After hotel breakfast, transfer to airport to take a morning flight to Yichang. Upon arrival, transfer to have lunch and have a city tour in Yichang city. After dinner, transfer to pier to board the cruise.

Note: Cruise itineraries are subject to change due to the conditions of climate, water level, navigation channel, seasons etc.

Day 12
Yangtze River Cruise

Included shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Project site after breakfast. Join the Optional Tour to the fabulous the Three Gorges Tribe in the afternoon. Ship departs from Maoping pier and sail into the west part of the Xiling Gorge. Captain’s Welcome Reception in the early evening. A Crew Cabaret Show after welcome dinner at night.

Day 13
Yangtze River Cruise

Wu gorge, excursion to Shennv or Shennong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges of Daning River, Qutang Gorge. Optional tour to the White Emperor City in the afternoon.

Day 14
Yangtze River Cruise

Shore excursion to Ghost City in Fengdu, farewell dinner and settlement in the evening.

Day 15
Shore excursion to Ghost City in Fengdu, farewell dinner and settlement in the evening. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Disembark at Chongqing in the morning. Visiting Chongqing Zoo to see the giant panda, People’s Assembly Hall and Ci Qi Kou. After lunch, transfer to train station to take bullet train to Guilin. Rest at hotel.

Day 16
Guilin-Yangshuo (Cruise)-Guilin (Coach)

Take a spectacular cruise down the meandering Li River. The scenery is breathtaking, as jagged, mist-covered mountains loom before you, and quaint villages dot the riverbanks. Disembark at Yangshuo, visit the Yangshuo West Street. Then drive back to Guilin. Back to hotel after dinner.

Day 17
Guilin-Shenzhen

After breakfast, visit Elephant Trunk Hill, then pay a visit to Reed Flute Cave. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Take bullet train to Shenzhen. Upon arrival, meet at the train station and transfer to check in hotel after dinner.

Day 18
Shenzhen-Hong Kong (Coach)

After hotel breakfast, proceed to visit Meridian View Centre and then Splendid China, which has scaled down replicas of China’s historical buildings, wonderful scenes and folk customs. After lunch, enjoy some free time visiting Luohu Shopping Mall. At specific time, transfer to Hong Kong hotel by board-cross van (Driver only). (Dinner on own arrangement)

Day 19
Hong Kong Island Tour

Morning proceed to city tour in Hong Kong Island (Seat-in-coach), including Victoria Peak, drive by Repulse Bay, Stanley Market, Aberdeen Fishing Village and a jewelry factory. Free for shopping spree for the rest of the day.

Day 20
Hong Kong Departure

Take shuttle bus to airport for homebound flight. Tour ends.
